She listened, thankful that it wasn't her mother being sneaky. So, he was from the north. That place was very odd and kind of spooky. Morgunn nodded after her father was done. She watched him lift up and then vanish. Her eyes rolled as she knew that she would have to speak with her mother on this subject fairly soon. She turned around and sighed. It was going to be a long day. There were so many unanswered questions. She walked towards her quarters and instructed her crew that she was not to be disturbed. With that, she went inside her room. Seeing that he was up, she smiled. Morgunn always hated waiting.

She moved to chest in the corner and pulled out pants and a shirt. Turning around, she held them out. "Now if I give you these, can you please answer a few questions for me? It will make things easier for us both." A small smile was on her face as she stood there. "I shall need to know your name and your purpose for visiting our lovely city." It was a start and she hoped that by the end, she would get to know more then that.

"Well, your old man has been up all night looking into our meta morph friend- watching security projections, finding his ship, tracking records of the crew and where they came from. They're from the north..."

Darvalel handed the ship's log to Morgunn.

"...and there have been many reports of lycanthropic infections there lately. Usually were-transformations are brought on by an attack- someone will get scratched or bitten before they transform. There have been reports of people who had never been attacked being spontaneously afflicted- no reason or cause. I was hoping your friend could tell me something about that before one of us goes to investigate, but it seems he's not much of a talker. The log has no mention of him. It seems that Scruffy doesn't like his name too much, maybe you could get more information out of him than I could."

Darvalel began to rise above the deck of the ship- hovering.

"And Morgunn, since we don't need any more of our family members duking it out with hairy strangers- try to keep him on the ship. I mean it- don't let him out of your site. He needs to stay put until I get more information about the random afflictions. Don't worry, I'll keep mom off of your back for as long as possible- but you know you're going to have to talk with her sooner or later. Better to have that conversation on your own terms, in my opinion. Take it easy, Dear."

He left a puff of smoke as he teleported from view.

She looked to see her father approaching her. Pulling her coat closer, she watched him coming towards her. He offered her a cigar and she shook her no. Morgunn didn't feel up to smoking at the moment. She had to much on her mind. But hearing his topic for conversation, she smiled. "Well, Dad, I am Jr's sister. I managed. Although, my muscles might be sore for a couple of days." She laughed, but it ended quickly. His words went to her head as she heard Shinsei's name. She had been there and seen how fast the child moved in order to save his friend. It was unbelievable. She took a deep breath. "Yeah, I sure that mother would have completely killed him. I guess I will have to thank the little bugger."

She wondered what had happened to him. Why was this man a monster? But he hadn't been to her. He had turned her down and that made him all the more interesting, but he had attacked one of her family members, the one that she had failed to save. She chewed her bottom lip as she thought about what she was going to ask him when he woke up. But her father was here, probably to ask if she knew anything about him. She turned to face him. "Mother didn't ask you to come did she?" She hoped not. It wasn't like her mother to send someone else to ask a billion questions about who she liked, but she never talked with her. But she didn't think that was the real reason he was here.

Darvalel watched the sun rise over the docks. He was already on his second cigar. Most people couldn't handle the ones made by the Mudstomp tribe- but orcs weren't the only tough creatures in the world. It had been a long night, but all of his searches just lead him back here. Mitsuko was probably furious with him for not returning home all night- but he kept extra cigars.

Darvalel landed on the deck of the Remorseless, knowing that his daughter was pacing- it had become her morning ritual. He hoped he wasn't disturbing the two of them. Most fathers would cringe at the thought of their daughter sleeping with a stranger, but Morgunn was different. She had already experienced the worst that the universe could spit out, he didn't see the harm in her finding some happiness- even in the company of a mangy stranger. Darvalel was more concerned about what she was about to say after hearing his proposal.

Morgunn was leaning over the railing- for once without her gaudy hat. Morgunn pulled her coat closer to her as she realized her father was visiting. She had blue eyes and flowing blonde hair- just like his wife. She had gotten her looks from her mother, and her personality from him. Darvalel pulled a cigar from his coat, offering it to his daughter.

"Its Orcish, but it won't kill you. I take it that your hairy friend made it back alright. I can't believe that you carried him all the way from the capital, I know that the tram helped- but that was one heavy guy. I guess you should be happy that Shinsei knocked him out first- I hate to think of what would've happened if your mom got to him first."

Dragomir woke to smell of rum and the ocean. What had happened to him? He could see light shining through a large window. He could feel the water rocking beneath him. There was an open closet stuffed with women's clothing. Dragomir looked down, realizing his state of nudity. He wasn't a modest person- but it was unnerving to know that your only clothing options meant that you were dressing like a woman. He was covered only by a white shirt spattered with blood. Was this his own blood, or someone else's? He recognized the shirt of the youth who was watching him before. Did he kill that boy? Where was Zarman?

Morgunn frowned as she watched him walk away. Did that just happen? No man had ever turned her down. Not one. Her bottom lip poked out as she was disgruntled about this situation. Her blue eyes glanced down to see the three gold pieces. An eyebrow raised as she slid them into her small pouch on her belt. Clearing her throat, she looked up to see that his form was far away now. "No! Wait..." She reached out her hand and then groaned. Was this suppose to be a challenge? She would definitely except it. The pirate adjusted her hat and corset before leaving her booth. Her son may have threatened the men who had come first, but this one had caught her eye. Morgun didn't even know his name. It was all mysterious and she just had to see why. Her adventurous side was ready to learn more about him. She picked up speed as she rushed to the crowd.

"Move..." she said, pushing her way through the crowd. Why was is so crowded? She looked up to see a small girl dancing. Morgunn quickly recognized the child as Midori who followed her grandchildren around. Huffing, she pushed her way but then gave up. There were to many people to really try to look for this man. Her shoulders slumped and she watched this dance. She would occasionally roll her eyes. It was an obvious display of affection. It turned her stomach to see such admiration. However a creeping thought was in the depths of her mind that perhaps she to could find someone like that. That she could come to love. She wrinkled her nose and discarded that thought, pushed it deeper. Her mother must never find out those thoughts. She already couldn't stand her as is.
